The company will supply 100 MW and 500 MW of solar power to two separate projects.

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), an SJVN subsidiary, has signed a power usage agreement (PUA) for 500 MW solar power and a power purchase agreement (PPA) for 100 MW solar power with Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited (RUVITL) for 25 years.

Under the PUA, SJVN has agreed to supply 500 MW of power at a tariff of $0.031 (INR2.57) per unit from the 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project – the largest single-location project in India.

The project is estimated to generate 2454.84 million units in the first year and about 56,474 million units for a cumulative generation of 25 years. The 1000 MW facility has a cost of $662.68m (INR5,491 crores), with commission to be set at 30 September 2024.
