Suzlon to put up 50.4MW wind project in Gujarat

Suzlon Energy has got an order from Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals to set up, operate and maintain 50.4 mega watt of wind energy projects in Gujarat.

 

The projects will be set up in wind farms operated by Suzlon in Rajkot and Surendranagar districts, the wind turbine maker said.

This is the fifth order Suzlon has got from GSFC and it is scheduled for completion and commissioning by September this year.

Suzlon has had a presence in Gujarat and is setting up the Kutch Wind Park in the state. The park’s planned capacity is 1,500 mw, and around 800 mw has already been commissioned, it said.
