Eurus Energy launches 18.83 MW Tabito Wind Farm
It will supply power for over 14,000 households, reducing 19,000 tonnes of emissions per year.
Japan-based wind power developer Eurus Energy started operations for its 18.83-megawatt Tabito Wind Farm on 15 November.
Located in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, the Eurus Tabito Wind Farm is comprised of five wind turbines over a ridge line at an elevation of nearly 700 to 800 metres. Each turbine has a 4.2 MW output, one of the highest capacity onshore models in Japan.
The wind farm is expected to supply power for over 14,000 average households, sufficient to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions by 19,000 tonnes per year.
