Gujarat tenders 700MW of solar projects

Bids can be submitted until 15 November.

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) launched the tender of 700MW worth of solar projects that will be set up in Raghanesda Solar Park. Bids can be submitted until 15 November 2018.

According to an announcement, 700MW has been tendered in order to fulfill the renewable purchase option and to meet the future requirements of the state distribution companies.

Power producers can vie for capacities worth 700MW, 500MW, 450MW, 250MW, or 200MW. The power purchase agreement will last for 25 years.

The land lease charges at the Raghanesda Solar Park are at $136.92/Hectare/Year with an increment rate of 15% every three years.
