IBV ACEN Renewables Asia finalising Malaysia solar deals

This will fuel the company’s goal to achieve 1 GW capacity.

IBV ACEN Renewables Asia Pte. Ltd. is already in the final stages of assessing and finalising investment in various solar projects in Malaysia.

“This $13m investment is part of ACEN's expected contribution of up to $200m equity investment,” ACEN said in a disclosure, noting that the projects have an aggregate capacity of around 80 megawatts (MW).

IBV ACEN Renewables Asia is a joint venture between ACEN Renewables International Pte. Ltd. and Singapore-based ib vogt (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.

The joint venture aims for a minimum operational capacity of 1,000 megawatts across Asia Pacific with potential for future expansion.
