JERA concludes Formosa 3 shares transfer

It will still operate Formosa 1 and Formosa 2 projects.

JERA, Inc. has transferred all its shares for its joint venture partnership at the Formosa 3 Offshore Wind Project in Chanhua in Taiwan, with Corio Generation.

In a statement, JERA said it decided to transfer the shares following a careful assessment to maximise its investment portfolio whilst maintaining a presence in existing energy projects in Taiwan.

The company served as a joint sponsor for the project.

It will continue to operate both the Formosa 1 and Formosa 2 projects with its joint venture partners.
