China Power celebrates breakthroughs in wind projects

The Xianrendong Wind Farm Project located in Lufeng of Yunnan Province has been offcially approved by the Yunnan Development and Reform Commission.

This is the first approved wind power project of CPI Yunnan International and of CPI in Yunnan Province, indicating that China Power Investment Corporation has broken new ground in its new energy business here.

In addition to the Lufeng Xianrendong Wind Power Project, CPI Yunnan International also obtained green light for two other projects in 2011, namely Kunming Lianhe Wind Power Project and Chuxiong Yongren PV Power Project.

The approval of Lufeng Xianrendong Wind Power Project laid a solid foundation for CPI Yunnan International to develop new energy industry, and is of significant importance for the growth of CPI’s new energy industry in general.
