Indonesia's PLN taps maintenance firm

PT PLN will cooperate on power plant maintenance with PT GMF AeroAsia, a maintenance, repair and overhaul firm.

A MoA has been signed by PLN strategic procurement director Bagiyo Riyawan, PT Indonesia Power president director Djoko Hastoyo, PT Pembangkit Jawa Bali president director Susanto Purnomo and GMF president director Richard Budihadianto.

PLN will involve GMF in its efforts to rebuild and maintain power generators that require maintenance, repair and overhaul services as well as testing power generators, including gas turbines.

GMF has the capabilities and facilities to conduct MRO services on aircraft and jet engines including on industrial gas turbines.
