ReNew Power to develop 300MW renewable energy project

The wind and solar hybrid project will be located in Jajpur, Odisha.

ReNew Power has partnered with Jindal Stainless to develop a utility-scale 300-megawatt renewable project in Jajpur, Odisha.

The project is expected to generate 700 million units per year through a mix of wind and solar technologies.

“We believe this unique model will revolutionise the way power is procured by Corporate India,” Founder, Chairman, and CEO, ReNew Power, Sumant Sinha, said.

“This innovative Wind-Solar hybrid system will accelerate the adoption of clean energy in a hard-to-abate sector.”
