TotalEnergies ENEOS completes 680 kWp rooftop solar project in Malaysia

This will avoid 500 tonnes of carbon emissions.

TotalEnergies ENEOS has commissioned a 680 kilowatt-peak rooftop solar photovoltaic project in Malaysia.

In a statement, TotalEnergies ENEOS said the project was done in collaboration with TechnipFMC and is under an 18-year power purchase agreement.

The solar facility features over 1,100 solar modules and generates 915 megawatt-hours of renewable electricity annually. This supplies 20% of the facility's total energy needs, helping avoid approximately 500 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

TotalEnergies ENEOS will operate and maintain the solar project, with TechnipFMC purchasing the electricity produced for the duration of the deal.
