EDP installs solar panels at Gardens by the Bay
Over 1,700 panels were installed.
EDP, through EDP Renewables APAC, has entered into a power purchase agreement for the installation of solar panels at the Gardens by the Bay.
According to EDP, the new system features more than 1,700 solar panels with a total capacity of 1.08 megawatt-peak. These were installed across the area, including the Supertree Grove, and new sites such as the Canopy and the Bayfront Pavilion.
"In a land-constrained city, every surface has the potential to contribute to decarbonisation, and this initiative reflects our commitment to delivering smart, scalable solutions that help our partners achieve their long-term sustainability goals”, said Vera Pinto Pereira, EDP’s board member.
