Inox Clean Energy unit to acquire 640 MW hybrid portfolio
The projects are located across Maharashtra.
Inox Neo Energies Limited has executed definitive agreements for the acquisition of a 640 megawatt wind-solar hybrid portfolio.
According to the company, the projects were acquired from Evergreen Power Mauritius Private Limited and Evergreen Renewables Private Limited. The deal includes five hybrid projects across Maharashtra, contracted under tenders by SJVN Limited and NTPC Limited.
The projects are being implemented under various special-purpose vehicles held by Evergreen Group through its holding companies. These will be connected through CTUIL 400/220 kV substations in the Indian state.
“The acquisition further strengthens Inox Clean’s renewable energy pipeline and aligns with India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030,” Inox Clean Energy CEO and Whole-time Director Bharat Saxena said.
