CIP commits $3b on Philippine offshore wind development

Denmark-based Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has committed to injecting $3b to accelerate the Philippines’ offshore wind sector.
According to the Philippine government, CIP has partnered with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions to build an offshore wind farm in Camarines Sur, its first project in Southeast Asia.
In 2023, CIP inked 25-year service contracts with Manila for three offshore wind projects with a total capacity of 2 gigawatts.
