India to bolster hydrocarbon resilience in energy pact with UAE
The collaboration aspires to strengthen India’s long-term LPG supply.
India’s Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL) and Abu Dhabi’s National Oil Company (ADNOC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work on the former’s hydrocarbons sector.
According to a press release, the partnership also aims to enhance India's resilience against global supply disruptions and energy market volatility.
Additionally, the agreement will create new opportunities in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage infrastructure.
“It will support India’s efforts to diversify energy sources and expand storage capacity to build a secure and future-ready energy ecosystem,” the press release said.
The collaboration also aspires to strengthen India’s long-term LPG supply security to ensure a reliable energy source for domestic demand.
