Waaree Group taps Suzlon for 201.6 MW wind project in India

Suzlon to install 64 S144 wind turbines with 3.15 MW capacity each.

Suzlon has won a 201.6 MW wind power order from Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited (WFEPL), the Independent Power Producer (IPP) arm of the Waaree Group, for its first wind energy project in Andhra Pradesh.

The project will be executed under Suzlon's DevCo model. The DevCo approach is designed to streamline project implementation, reduce development risks, and improve scalability.

As part of the order, Suzlon will install 64 units of its flagship S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, at the project site in Andhra Pradesh.

The company will handle the project's end-to-end execution, including land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant (BoP) works, commissioning, and lifetime operations and maintenance services.
