EDPR Sunseap, Schneider Electric to drive solar energy advancement in Singapore

The partnership is intended to boost access to cleaner, affordable, and more reliable energy. 

EDPR Sunseap and Schneider Electric have signed an agreement to boost solar power advancements in Singapore. 

The memorandum of understanding is intended to allow access to cleaner, affordable, and more reliable energy. 

“Our combined technology and industry expertise will unlock new opportunities to accelerate the energy transition and contribute to Singapore’s net-zero goals, while at the same time, provide businesses and Singaporeans with greater access to affordable and clean energy and build a more sustainable future for all,” Schneider Electric’s Cluster President for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei Yoon Young Kim, said.

Through the partnership, the two companies will look into potential collaborations, leveraging on their respective expertise in sustainability and microgrid controller. 

“This MOU with Schneider Electric further strengthens our partnership and commitment to be a global leader in the energy transition, working with like-minded partners,” EDPR Sunseap’s Executive Vice President for Client Solutions & Asset Operations (APAC), Filipa Ricciardi said.
