
Tata Power’s income up 10% in Q3 FY 2025
Revenue also rose 2%.
Tata Power has reported a profit after tax of INR 1,188 crore in the third quarter (Q3) of its fiscal year 2025, increasing 10% from the same period last year.
In a bourse filing, the company said its revenue reached INR 15,118 crore in Q3, up 2% from last year. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization also rose 7% to INR 3,481 crore, thanks to “solid contributions and operational efficiency across businesses.”
“Our operations in Odisha have emerged as a role model for Discom reforms. We are earnestly exploring distribution opportunities in other states to support the government's focus on revamping the sector,” said Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO and managing director, Tata Power.
As of the end of December, the company’s operational capacity is 6.7 gigawatts (GW) in the renewables segment, generating over 11,700 million units of green power. Another 10 GW of projects are under execution which are expected to boost clean energy capacity to 16.7 GW.
