Adani Green CEO leaves post to assume new group position

This will be effective at the end of March.

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced that its CEO Amit Singh is stepping down from his role, effective 31 March 2025, to transition as the new chief executive of International Energy Business of the Adani Group.

In a statement, AGEL said Singh will be replaced by Ashish Khanna, who is currently CEO of the International Energy Business. The latter’s new role will be effective 1 April 2025.

“As Adani Group now wishes to expand its business territory to international geographies, especially where growth paradigms are formidable such as MENA, Amit’s leadership will further strengthen Group and align Group’s goals,” AGEL said.

Singh is an energy industry strategist with extensive global experience with SLB (formerly Schlumberger). He has worked in over a dozen countries, including roles as managing director in Qatar and director of corporate strategy and marketing in London.

Khanna, meanwhile, has over three decades of experience in areas of renewables, infrastructure, project management and contracts management in both India and abroad.
