GAIL scouting CDM consultant for its 5MW solar project

GAIL India Limited is looking to hire a clean development mechanism consultant for its 5 MW solarphotovoltaic power plant in Rajasthan.

The company intends to register its solar project under CDM.

GAIL has invited bids from competitive agencies on limited domestic competitive bidding basis for thispurpose.

The scope of work includes preparation of project idea note, establishment of project boundaries, baseline scenario and barrier analysis.

Additionally, the appointed consultant must also prepare the project design document including sitevisits and collection of information.

As far as certified emission reductions are concerned, the consultant is required to assist in gettingthese issued as well as getting them sold in the first year.
