Areva to work with Chinese nuclear firms

CNNC and AREVA will work on big-size commercial aftertreatment and recycle plant project as well.  A memo of understanding was signed by CNNC general manager  Mr.Sun Qin and AREVA France president Mr.Luoweizhong.

A joint venture was also formed between the two companies named CNNC&AREVA Shanghai Pipe Industry Co.,Ltd joint venture. During the ceremony, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group and AREVA Group also signed the uranium product purchase contract.

President Hu Jintao and French President Sarkozy witnessed the signing ceremony between the Sino-French Departments and the enterprises during friendly discussions.
