Huadian gets nod for 2 Hebei wind projects

Huadian Power has secured approval from the Development and Reform Commission to build two wind power projects in Hebei.

According to China Knowledge, Huadian will earmark RMB 462 million to build a wind power project with a total installed capacity of 49.5 megawatts in Yuzhou via its subsidiary. In addition, it plans to build another wind power project with the same installed capacity in Yuxian County.

The new wind power projects are expected to help Huadian Power optimize the structure of installed capacity and increase profitability, said the firm.
