SGEL to develop 360 MW solar project in Gujarat

The project is set to supply energy for over 901.87 million units in the first year.

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has finalised a contract agreement with Solarworld Energy Solutions Private Limited for the balance of system (BoS) of a 360 MW Gujarat solar power project.

Under the partnership, SGEL will oversee the operation and maintenance of the solar PV plant for three years.

Located in Bhuj, District Kutch, Gujarat, the 360 MW solar power project has been tenable on a build-own-operate basis in an open competitive bidding process, as administered by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
