Solarpack, SECI ink 25-year PPA

SECI will be supplied with power from the 410 MW solar plant in Rajasthan.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Spain-based Solarpack signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) that will start supplying power in 2025.

In a statement, Solarpack said that under the PPA, it will supply 755 gigawatt-hours annually of clean power that will be generated from the 410-megawatt Gorbea solar power project in Rajasthan.

The partnership will also support SECI’s goal to operate fully through renewable energy by 2030.
