Solarpack, SECI ink 25-year PPA
SECI will be supplied with power from the 410 MW solar plant in Rajasthan.
The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Spain-based Solarpack signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) that will start supplying power in 2025.
In a statement, Solarpack said that under the PPA, it will supply 755 gigawatt-hours annually of clean power that will be generated from the 410-megawatt Gorbea solar power project in Rajasthan.

The power generated annually can meet the annual consumption of over 128,000 households and cut around 13.3 million tonnes of carbon emissions during its lifetime.
The partnership will also support SECI’s goal to operate fully through renewable energy by 2030.
