Adani Green Energy unit enters solar power deal in Uttar Pradesh

Energy will be generated from a project in Rajasthan.

Adani Green Energy Sixty Nine Limited, a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has signed an agreement for 400 megawatts of solar power in Uttar Pradesh.

In a statement, AGEL said the power purchase agreement was signed with Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. The energy will be generated from a grid-connected solar PV project in the state of Rajasthan to meet the clean energy demands in Uttar Pradesh.

“This agreement aligns with Adani Green Energy’s mission to strengthen India's energy security by expanding its consolidated solar portfolio, delivering affordable and clean power across states,” AGEL said.
