Alternergy's 2 wind power projects to proceed to development phase
The Alabat and Tanay Wind Projects have a total capacity of 174 megawatts.
Alternergy’s Alabat and Tanay Wind Projects will now enter the development stage after the Department of Energy (DOE) awarded the projects with Certificates of Confirmation of Commerciality.
“The (certificate) issued by the DOE is a significant certificate affirming that our Alabat and Tanay Wind Power Projects are commercially viable,” Gerry P. Magbanua, president of Alternergy and Alabat Wind Power Corporation (AWPC), the project company for the Alabat Wind Power Project.
