Gurin Energy acquires EDP Renewables APAC’s Korean wind and solar portfolio

The acquired assets have a total capacity of 303 megawatts.

Singapore-based Gurin Energy has acquired EDP Renewables APAC’s wind and solar project portfolio in South Korea.

In a statement, Gurin Energy said the projects have a combined total capacity of 303 megawatts, doubling the size of its portfolio under development in South Korea to more than 600 MW.

“Once completed, the projects are expected to contribute to the advancement of the country’s renewable energy goals and support national decarbonisation efforts,” the company said.
