Largest wind & solar project in Australia to launch before end-2021

The wind & solar project has a total of 270 MW energy capacity

The Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park is expected to start early operations before the end of 2021, energy company Infigen Energy said.

Australia’s biggest wind and solar project will see around 100 MW of solar generation paired with 210 MW wind capacity with a restricted combined output of 270 MW.

Infigen Energy took over the project from Spain-based electric company Iberdrola after the latter acquired Infigen last year.
