The project includes a battery facility.

Octopus Australia marks financial close and construction commencement for its $300m Fulham Solar Farm.

In a statement, the company said the project will have an 80-megawatt solar farm and a 128-megawatt-hour battery project. The project is supported by equity capital contributions through Octopus’ managed funds from investors, including Rest, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), and clients of Westpac Private Bank.

The project is expected to be fully operational in 2027.

Following this development, Octopus aims to commence construction of the $850m Blind Creek Solar Farm and Battery in New South Wales and the $800m standalone Blackstone Battery in Queensland in 2025.
