“Way Ratai WKP is very strategic and one of the best in Indonesia. Way Ratai's position also has an important role as a hub in Sumatra so that it can add value to geothermal energy by developing secondary products, especially green hydrogen,” Julfi Hadi, President and Director of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, stated.

Located in the province of Lampung, Way Ratai WKP covers 70,710 hectares of geothermal energy. It will mainly serve as the focal point of geothermal exploration for PGE, which will be conducted until 2028.
