Synera Renewable Energy secures full offtake for 495 MW Formosa 4

Two additional agreements secured full offtake for the 495MW offshore wind farm.

Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) has announced that the entire Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Project has been fully subscribed.

In a statement, the company said the entire 495 megawatt output of its Formosa 4 has been fully subscribed following the CPPA concluded with Taiwan Smart Electricity & Energy in early December and two additional CPPAs for the remainder of its output, securing full offtake.

“With this milestone, the construction-ready Formosa 4 now calls for support from the government and local financial institutions to align credit support and project financing—critical to commencing construction and accelerating renewable energy deployment required for Taiwan’s sustainability goals and economic development,” SRE said.
