Vena Energy secures financing for Philippine solar project
The clean energy initiative aims to offset 349,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas.
Vena Energy, under Vena Group and Asia-Pacific region’s leading green energy solutions provider, has secured financing for the Opus Solar Energy Project.
It has secured backing from banks from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan, underscoring the company’s leadership in initiating cross-border capital in green innovation and large-scale energy infrastructure.
The project is a ground-mounted solar facility located in Ilocos Norte, with a capacity of 300 MWp, expected to power approximately 445,000 households with clean energy, which is in line with Vena Group’s commitment to decarbonising the economy and accelerating the energy transition in Asia-Pacific.
