CDM Registration for Jinzishan wind project completed

The registration of Jinzishan Wind Power Project in Ziyuan, Guangxi, has been approved by UN CDM EB.

The Beijing-based Carbon Assets Operation & Management Co., Ltd. of CPCEC, a subsidiary of China Power Investment, is responsible for the CDM application of this project. This is the 17th project in CPI that has completed CDM registration and also the 21st one completed by the Carbon Assets Operation & Management Co., Ltd.

The Jinzishan Wind Power Project is expected to generate about 85,000 tons of CO2 emission reductions every year, which can bring the owner about RMB 8 million worth of CDM compensations. CPI's Southern Branch will be responsible for its construction and operation.
