Ca Mau power plants exceeds the annual plan

The total output for Ca Mau 1 and Ca Mau 2 power plants has reached 7.94 billion KW. It exceeded Ca Mau Petrovietnam Power Company’s 7.6 billion KW target by 4 per cent with revenues has reaching US$337.8 million.

Since the actual load demand of the national electricity system is still high, these two power plants will reach the output of 940 million kWh of electricity in the remaining two months of the year, increasing the total electricity produced in 2010 to 8.84 billion kWh, 16 per cent higher than planned. The revenue will reach US$354 million.

Since the plants were put into operation, the total output has been 18 billion kWh and the total revenue has been nearly US$707 million.
