Korean biomass power plant to be Asia’s largest

Will have 105 MW capacity when completed in 2015.

The 105 MW Dangjin 4 Biomass Power Plant located in Dangjin City, about 70 km southwest of Seoul, will allow the plant’s owner, GS Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (GS E&C), to enhance its competitiveness in the power market, increase its electricity capacity and produce more renewable energy.

GS E&C has 28 branches, 11 subsidiaries, 200 construction sites and over 7,200 employees. Both GS E&C and GS EPS Co. Ltd., an independent power producer in Korea, are part of the GS Group.
