Bhatia Energy to set up 0.96 mpta coal washery in Orissa

Materials handling company Bhatia Energy & Minerals Pvt Ltd has proposed to set up a 0.96 mtpa coal washery in Orissa. The total cost of the project has been pegged at

Rs 20.21 crore.
8The source of raw coal for the project will be Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd's Basundhara and Kulda opencast mines in the state.
8Bhatia Energy already has an assured 0.62 mtpa coal for washing from Mekko Steel and Power, R R Energy, Shri Abmika Ispat (India), Maa Kali Alloy Udyog, Maa Shakambari Steel,

Nava Durga Fuel and Shiv Shakti Steel.
8These companies are currently sourcing their requirement of coal from MCL Sambalpur and want their coal to be washed by Bhatia Energy.
8The company will procure its balance throughput coal through e-auction from the Basundhara coal mines.
