Wanmipo plant reaches annual target 114 days earlier

Wanmipo Hydropower Plant had generated 658.9 GWh by September 8, accomplishing the annual generation target 114 days ahead of schedule.

The first quarter of the year was the driest season in Youshui Basin since Wanmipo Hydropower Plant was put into operation, so it had a heavy task of peaking shaving and voltage regulation as the only power support in northwestern Hunan grid. Overcoming many difficulties, the plant generated more than 100 GWh in May, June and July successively.

In the near future when Youshui Basin will embrace another heavy rainfall, the  Wanmipo Hydropower Plant will be actively coordinated with the upstream power plants to make good use of the water resources in the Basin and create more profits.
