Moser Baer to build 1980-MW thermal plant in Jharkhand

Moser Baer has secured a  terms of reference for preparation of environment impact assessment studies for a 1980MW coal-fired 1980-MW in Saraikela Kharswan district of Jharkhand.

The conditions mentioned in the TOR from Ministry of Environment and Forests include a directive to the company that it would apply for environmental clearance on the basis of EIA reports only after it has secured firm fuel and water linkages for the project.

The company is also required to submit the details of '100% fly ash utilization plan' along with firm agreements / MoU with contracting parties including other usages etc.
