Jinko Solar to supply solar panels to Three Gorges Dam

Panels will be delivered by 2015.

JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to supply 600 MW of high-efficiency solar panels for China Three Gorges New Energy Corporation in western China.

JinkoSolar chairman Xiande Li said China is becoming a major and fast growing market for solar PV modules. The company believes that its strategic cooperation with CTGNE reflects CTGNE’s confidence in the advanced technology, high quality, and reliability of its products.

CTGNE is one of the largest and fastest growing developers of renewable energy projects in China. JinkoSolar had a previous 50MW contract with CTGNE in October 2012.
