Asian Oil and Gas Awards opens doors for nomination

Deadline for entries to the inaugural awards programme is on 24 September.

Despite being one of the major industries in the energy market, oil and gas companies were not exempted from the effect of shutdowns and restrictions brought upon by the pandemic. However, firms whowere able to adapt to the new reality, push for digital transformation, and mitigate the impact of the pandemic on their business whilst continuing to provide to consumersare able to lead the industry amidst the challenging times.

To recognise the most innovative strategies and initiatives amidst this challenging environment, Asian Power is proud to open the nominations for the inaugural Asian Oil and Gas Awards. 

To qualify for the awards programme, companies must have an innovative initiative, project, or plant that has been completed either partially or fully, within the 24 calendar months or was completed and launched prior to the last 24 months but had recent innovations for further improvement.

The award categories that will be given in each country are:

  • Refinery Project of the Year
  • Upstream Project of the Year
  • Midstream Project of the Year
  • Downstream  Project of the Year
  • Oil Shale Project of the Year
  • Green Hydrogen Project of the Year

  • ESG Initiative of the Year
  • Net-Zero Initiative of the Year
  • COVID Management Initiative of the Year
  • Operations and Maintenance Initiative of the Year
  • Digital Transformation Initiative of the Year 
  • Innovative Technology Initiative of the Year
  • Storage Initiative of the Year
  • Data Initiative of the Year
  • Consumer Initiative of the Year
  • EOR Initiative of the Year
  • Exploration Initiative of the Year 
  • New Product of the Year
  • Water Management Initiative of the Year
  • Health and Safety Initiative of the Year
  • Offshore Initiative of the Year
  • Onshore Initiative of the Year
  • Innovation Award

Nominations are open until 24 September 2021. A panel consisting of thought leaders and industry experts will carefully evaluate each entry.

The awards presentation day will take place on 22 October 2021.
