Bright Energy to expand Warradarge wind project

It will be one of the biggest in Western Australia.

Bright Energy Investment has announced that it will expand its Warradarge Wind Farm located in the Mid West region of Western Australia, Australia.

In a statement, the company said the expansion is worth $400m with a total of 30 additional turbines to be added to the wind project. This will add 103 megawatts (MW) to the facility’s current capacity at 180 MW.

Bright Energy has tapped Vestas for the expansion project.
