Dinto Solar secures 1 GW HJT module id from China Datang
China Datang continues to include HJT alongside TOPCon and BC technologies.
Dinto Solar has won a bid in the 1 GW heterojunction (HJT) module category under China Datang Corporation Ltd.’s 2026–2027 photovoltaic module framework procurement programme.
The company said the award strengthens HJT technology’s position in China’s utility-scale solar market and reflects continued demand from major power producers for high-efficiency n-type PV solutions.
China Datang, one of China’s largest state-owned power generation companies, included HJT alongside other n-type technologies such as TOPCon and back-contact (BC) in its latest procurement programme.
The move highlights growing interest in multiple high-performance solar technologies for large-scale renewable energy projects.
HJT modules offer high efficiency, strong temperature performance, high bifaciality and low degradation, making them suitable for demanding applications including desert, coastal and high-altitude solar projects.
Dinto Solar has developed an integrated HJT technology platform covering cell development, process optimization and manufacturing. Its technology portfolio includes low-silver metallization, 1/3-cut cell architecture, copper-metallized HJT and perovskite-HJT tandem technology.
The company’s HJT modules deliver up to 770 W output and 24.8% module efficiency, with products above 730 W already deployed in utility-scale and commercial projects worldwide.
Dinto Solar has supplied HJT modules to more than 100 projects across over 30 countries and regions, including desert PV, offshore solar, agrivoltaics and distributed generation applications.
The latest bid win adds to Dinto Solar’s growing presence in the global HJT market and supports wider adoption of high-efficiency solar technology.
