POWERCHINA’s Guayepo III solar project reaches full grid connection
The project can provide 183 million kWh of clean energy annually.
POWERCHINA has announced the full grid connection of the Guayepo III Photovoltaic Project it constructed in Colombia.
According to the company, this was achieved six days ahead of schedule despite the project facing two rainy seasons since entering the electromechanical installation phase.
The project team adopted a "self-operation + subcontracting" coordinated fulfilment model. By strengthening plan execution, resource allocation, and process control, it achieved refined management and efficient controllability of the construction organisation.
“Through scientific management and continuous optimisation, the team ensured the quality of the project, and laid the foundation for the project to achieve full grid connection ahead of schedule,” the company said.
The project can provide approximately 183 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually, which meets local electricity demand and will help promote Colombia's energy transition and emission reduction goals.
