Solar company Longi to enter the hydrogen market in China

A new company under the Longi name was registered last month.

China-based Longi Green Energy Technology Co. is entering the hydrogen market, according to a report by Solarzoom.

The report said that Xi’an Longi Hydrogen Technology Co., was registered on 31 March in China.

Longi’s founder and president, Li Zhenguo is said to serve as the company’s chairman with Xi’an Longi Green Energy Venture Capital Management Co. and Shanghai Zhuqueying Private Equity Investment Fund Partnership as shareholders.

Considered as the world’s biggest solar company, it manufacturers wafers, cells and panels.
