ACWA Power begins operations of 300 MW Shuaa Energy 3 Phase C

The power plant has a total capacity of 900 MW.

ACWA Power can now start the operations of Phase C of the Shuaa Energy 3 projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In a statement, ACWA Power, which owns a 24% stake in the project, received the Project Commercial Operation Certificate for the project’s Phase C which has a 300-megawatt (MW) capacity.

With the operations of the third phase, the plant now has a total capacity of 900 MW.

The financial impact of the project on the company will be reflected in the third quarter.
