Adani secures $3.2b transmission project in India's Gujarat
The project will upgrade the Navinal (Mundra) electrical substation.
Adani Energy Solutions Limited has won a $3.2b power transmission project in Mundra, Gujarat, which will supply green electrons for manufacturing Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia.
Deliverable in three years, the project will upgrade the Navinal (Mundra) electrical substation by adding two large 765/400 kiloVolt (kV) transformers.
Additionally, a 75 kilometre-long 765kV double-circuit line will be constructed to connect this substation to the Bhuj substation.
The project will see the addition of 150 circuit kilometres (cKM) of transmission lines and 3,000 megavolt-ampere (MVA) of transformation capacity to the group’s overall transmission infrastructure, bringing them to 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA, respectively.
