Ichigo turns on 14 MW solar plant in Japan

This is the company’s 64th renewable energy project.

Sustainable infrastructure firm Ichigo started the operation of the Ichigo Ebino Suenaga ECO Power Plant with a total capacity of 13,99 megawatts.

In a statement, the company said the power plant is located in Ebino City in Miyazaki Prefecture, covering an area of 573,567 square metres.

It can generate electricity of around 17.4 million kilowatt hours annually, which can provide power for around 5,800 households.

This is the company’s 64th renewable energy power plant, bringing its total operating and in-pipeline projects to 188 MW.
