In a statement, ORIX said the development Maibara-Koto Energy Storage Plant, with a rated capacity of 548 megawatt-hours, will start in November.

The company will install 140 containers of lithium-ion storage batteries on a property owned by Maibara City, covering around 26,000 square metres of land.
