REDC inaugurates 18.2 MW Pulangi Hydropower Plant in PH
The new Pulangi Hydropower Plant is eligible for the ERC's new Feed-in Tariff.
Repower Energy Development Corporation (REDC) has inaugurated the 18.2-megawatt (MW) Pulangi Hydropower Plant, located at the border of the Cities of Valencia and San Fernando in Bukidnon.
In a regulatory filing, REDC said the facility is amongst the first hydropower plants eligible for the Energy Regulatory Commission’s new Feed-in Tariff Round 4.
Pulangi plant is a run-of-river hydropower facility projected to generate an average of 130 gigawatt-hours of clean electricity annually.
