China’s Heavy Energy acquires 168-MW Alibunar wind project in Serbia

The project is located in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina.

China’s Heavy Energy International has fully acquired the 168-megawatt (MW) Alibunar wind project in Serbia, according to a press release.

Nordic renewable energy developer Emergy, one of the former co-owners, said that the transaction has now closed and all conditions have been fulfilled.

The project consists of the Alibunar Windfarm A and Alibunar Windfarm B sites, located in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina.

Heavy Energy International is expected to begin construction in the near future.
