CWP inks wind power and clean mechanism projects

A 350MW wind power project with a total of 7 JVs will be set up in Fuxin City, Liaoning Province by China Wind Power and Liaoning Energy Investment Group. The joint venture between the two companies indicated that the project will start construction this year with the aim of producing energy by 2010.

China Wind Power also concluded a Clean Development Mechanism cooperation agreement with ESI for a total capacity of 247.5MW recently. The estimated annual emission reduction is 610,000 CERs. The projects under this agreement are located in Inner-Mongolia Zhalute Banner and Zhangwu County in Liaoning Province.
